TREKKING:
During one’s free time or leisure time it is possible to become very
close to nature, signposted is one 15 Km walk around the outskirts of
Taberno, which could take about 3 Hours to complete, this route has been
carefully planned around some of the beautiful and traditional places
in the area.
Through this route runs the rambler Aceituno, where the Picacho is situated
and the spot the name of the route, cottages, turrets and eroded landscape
create mysterious beauty.
The viewpoint at “Las Morras” has fresh drinking water and is a welcome
rest from the long walk, form this privileged place one can look at the
stunning view down into the basin of Almanzora Valley, where further beyond
the hills is the horizon and the sea at Garrucha.
